1. Memotong sumbu x dan melalui satu titik:

2. Melalui titik puncak/ balik dan melalui satu titik:
f(x) = a(x - xp)² + yp
3. Menyinggung sumbu x dan melalui satu titik:
f(x) = a(x - x₁)²
4. Melalui tiga titik yang berbeda dan ordinat dua titik yang sama:
f(x) =a(x - x₁)(x - x₂) + y₁
5. Melalui tiga titik yang berbeda:
